This painting depicts the view of my neighborhood from the front window of my house. Part of a two-part painting series. This one takes place in January at 8AM. 
 
I often find beauty in color and light. I've always loved winter when it snows a lot; the snow often looks very blue and the light is extra yellow in the winter.
 
By making a painting from the pov of looking outside, I'm putting viewers in the perspective of someone continualy looking outside. Someone who appreiates the beauty of nature. Who maybe wants to go outside. But doesn't.
