About Me
After graduating with my BFA in Studio Art from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2022, I continued to explore paintings about everyday life. Currently I'm exploring painting's ability to capture the truth of everyday places and moments combined with the fictional, fantasy world that's been depicted throughout the medium's history. I also combine my love of the materiality of oil paint, it's color and visceral texture to explore humanity, our desires, fantasies, and realities. Typically my work follows the size of my subjects. Creating life sized portraits that demand attention.
I have exhibited my work in shows across Rochester, Buffalo and New York City, including the competitive juried 68th and 69th Finger Lakes artists show at the Memorial Art Gallery, Made in NY 2025 at the Schweinfurth Art Center, and a joint exhibition at Genesee Valley Council of the Arts.
I am currently attending the University of Georgia to pursue my MFA in Fine Arts with an estimated graduation year of 2028. In Georgia I have started to exhibit work in Augusta at the Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art, and Athens at ATHICA, where I recently won a juror's award, and the 51st Regional Lyndon House Exhibition.
