This painting depicts the view of my neighborhood from the front window of my house. Part of a two-part painting series. This one takes place in February at 11AM.
 
I often find beauty in color and light. I've always loved winter when it snows a lot; the snow often allows deep blue shadows to form across the surface. 
 
By making a painting from the pov of looking outside, I'm putting viewers in the perspective of someone continualy looking outside. Someone who appreiates the beauty of nature. Who maybe wants to go outside. But doesn't.
